I’m continually adding new dahlias to this section every day, ensuring the final list will be nothing short of spectacular!

🌸 Tuber Sale Information & Terms - Bloom Flower Farm

Please read carefully before purchasing. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

🗓️ Tuber Pre-Sale – Late July 2025

Our Pre-Sale tuber listings are based on current division and winter storage figures. We take great care in allocating conservative and realistic quantities for sale. In the unlikely event that a variety does not store well over winter and we are unable to fulfill your order, we will contact you directly to offer either a refund or a suitable replacement.
A Final Tuber Sale will be held in Spring 2025, once all stock has been checked and finalised. Shipping for both Pre-Sale and Main Sale orders is expected to begin around September/October. Please note: we are unable to combine shipping across multiple orders.

🌱 Our Tubers

All of our dahlias are proudly grown in New Zealand for New Zealand conditions. We do not import tubers.
We take great pride in providing healthy, high-quality tubers. While every effort is made to ensure they are free from disease, the nature of dahlia viruses and the current limitations of testing in NZ mean we cannot offer a 100% disease-free guarantee. However, we will never knowingly send out tubers showing any signs of disease.
All tubers will be shipped with a visible eye or shoot. If a shoot breaks off in transit – don’t worry! Another one will grow in its place.

💻 On Placement of Your Online Order

Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email thanking you for your order.
A second email will follow confirming the total amount due (including delivery), along with our bank account details for payment. Please note: Your order is only confirmed once payment has been received. If payment is not made within the specified timeframe, your order will be cancelled.

📦 Upon Receiving Your Order

Please check your tubers immediately upon arrival. If you have any concerns, contact us via email within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Due to the many variables involved in growing dahlias, we cannot offer replacements or refunds beyond this 48-hour window.

"If you miss out on a dahlia you were hoping for, don’t worry! Just send me a separate email with the variety you missed, and I’ll add you to the waitlist for our Final Tuber Sale. There’s a chance I may still be able to complete your order."

🚚Courier Costs - Confirmed

We have confirmed courier costs as follows; you will be asked to select one of three options when you order:
Nationwide 3-day delivery (non-rural) $12
Nationwide Rural ($12 + $5.70)
Pick up at arranged time (Weekends only)

Thank you for supporting Bloom Flower Farm – we can’t wait to share the beauty of dahlias with you this season!

Terms & Conditions for Tuber Sales

All plants and tubers are thoroughly inspected for any visible signs of disease. I ensure that the cutting tools I use to divide the Dahlia tubers are cleaned and disinfected as effectively as possible between each plant to prevent the spread of any illness.

The sizes of the tubers may vary, and you'll receive what fate has in store for you. You might get a single tuber, a pair, or a cluster, depending on how I have divided them. As long as there is a viable “eye” on the tuber, it should grow into a healthy Dahlia plant, regardless of the tuber's size.

I will store the tubers throughout the winter, assess their viability, and send them out to buyers at the beginning of October 2025, ready for planting. (I will provide updates as the date approaches.)

If there are any issues with the tubers once I have checked them before shipping, I will reach out to offer a refund or an option to choose a different variety of Dahlia.

Along with the tubers, a few care instructions will be included.

Upon arrival, please inspect the Dahlia tubers. If you notice any problems, let me know within two days so we can resolve the issue. After that, how you store and plant the Dahlia tubers, as well as their growth, is entirely your responsibility.
